Little Rascals Actress Jackie Lynn Taylor DIES AT 88

Jackie Lynn Taylor, who starred as one of the Little Rascals in five our gang comedy shorts which are released in 1934, died Monday in Citrus Height, California. Her husband, Jack Fries (TV anchor/producer and a former CBS journalist), said she has Alzheimer's disease. She was 88. The Sacremento Bee reported.

Taylor who debuted as Jane, the gilfriend of the gang leader (Wally) was eventually replaced by Darla Hood (because she grew too tall).

She also appeared in "the Devil's Brother (1933)" and "Babes in Toyland (1934)".

She penned a book in 1970 about the Rascals, "The Turned-on Hollywood 7", and along with
Jack Fries (his husband) she hosted "The Little Rascals Family Theatre" , which had been shown on TV in the 1970s. It was a big super duper hit.

Later, she also worked in KTTV in Los Angeles as a Host and a reporter.

Her first husband was drama teacher and actor Ben Bard.
