The Sexiest Ladies of Sci-Fi and Fantasy

Anna Silk

Lost Girl is one of the sexiest shows on SyFy. It helps that it's about a succubus who feeds on sexual energy. Silk brings more than just sex appeal to Bo. Not only is she ballsy and kick-ass, but she’s got a very strong sense of morality and loyalty. She’s a poster child for the sex positive movement because her bisexual polyamorous relationship with Lauren and Dyson are depicted positively, assigned to a character who always does the right thing and saves the world. It also helps that lingerie is often part of her general day wear.

 Tatiana Maslany

On Orphan Black, Maslany can be anything from a housewife, to a spy, to a cracked out Russian religious extremist. Not to mention in real life she’s an amazing actor doing sextuple duty playing an entire cadre of clones. The best thing is she really finds a balance of full-fledged, relatable characters and the bizarre world of sci-fi.

  Billie Piper

Piper is sci-fi royalty as a memorable companion on Doctor Who. She also carried an entire series with her sex appeal in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She’s already getting advanced praise for being a stimulating part of Penny Dreadful. Plus, she’s such a stunner she’s one of the sexiest women in sci-fi before the show even premieres.

 Emilia Clarke

Clarke is one of the most compelling characters on Game of Thrones. Despite being removed from most of the other characters, Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, has the most captivating storyline (and longest name). Clarke alternates from innocence and timidity and shrewd rule. She has not shied from revealing her stunning body but luckily her amazing acting skills have made her so compelling that she doesn’t just need sex appeal to keep audiences tuning in.

 Nina Dobrev

Dobrev is almost single-handedly responsible for the success of The Vampire Diaires. Her amazing acting abilities have allowed her to play three different dopplegangers. Plus, her intense chemistry with co-stars Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder have driven the success of the show. Whether she's mean Katherine or emotional Elena, Dobrev finds a way to always be appealing.

 Nicole Beharie

Beharie transcends stereotypes as Abbie Mills on Sleepy Hollow. She is not sassy, weak, or overly seductive. That makes her insanely attractive because she’s an good-looking woman who is a full-fledged character rather than being relegated to comic relief, stereotypical one-liners, or half nude damsel moments. She takes care of herself and that definitely can come in handy.

 Nichols

Nichols is not your average sci-fi heroine. As time-traveling super cop Kiera Cameron on Continuum, she’s a wife, mother, war veteran, and the last hope for the future. She doesn’t play overly sexy or kick-ass; she actually plays a normal human being who just so happens to wear a skin-tight body suit and has weaponry from the future. But seeing time travel and a war playing out over hundreds of years through the eyes of a normal woman is compelling. Plus, she’s a stunner with beautiful eyes.

 Ksenia Solo

Solo may play sidekick to Bo on Lost Girl but Kenzi is definitely the star of the show. Not only is she a stunner with bright blue eyes and a dancer’s body but she’s so hilariously quick. Her legendary one-liners are a pivotal part of the show. She may always wear high heels and leather boots but her character is sexy in a way more understated way than her succu-bestie Bo. It’s great that the show gives women different expressions of sexiness.

 Jaime Murray

Murray is stunningly beautiful. Her epic sex appeal stole the show in Spartacus. She’s able to still be amazingly hot in heavy white make-up. She plays one of the head Castithans on SyFy’s Defiance. Her character may be duplicitous but it’s hard to get over Murray’s stunning looks and delicious accent. She's a woman who makes being bad look good.

Lana Parrilla

Power is sexy. Parrilla is often all-powerful as the definitive wicked witch on Once Upon a Time. She offers a somewhat harsh, salty, and sadistic vibe on the show. But she’s also capable of vulnerability, warmth, and even sweetness. On a show that’s very influenced by Disney, Parrilla brings the sex appeal and a huge dose of reality.

 Lena Headey

Heady is supernatural royalty. She played Sarah Connor for goodness sake. She was Queen of the Spartans in the 300 movies. It makes up for Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones being one of the most sinister characters on TV. You can’t help but love her. She’s stunning, smart, and seductively sinister.

 Julie Benz

Benz doesn’t have to work hard to be a siren of sci-fi. She already has fans from her run as Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and as the lady love of Dexter. That being said, she’s doing a great job on Defiance as Amanda Rosewater the mayor of the post-apocalyptic, oddly alien, futuristic town.

 Jennifer Morrison

Morrison is understatedly sexy on Once Upon a Time. She doesn’t have to wear revealing outfits: she’s often dressed down, wearing a coat, and not much make-up. That plucky tomboy energy not only makes her a great hero for the series but also the kind of girl you can fantasize about dating but also having pizza and beer with.

 Eva Green

Green’s sexiness cannot be denied. She also seems to love playing sexy witches. She’s been one in The Golden Compass, Dark Shadows, Camelot, and no Penny Dreadful. It’s unclear what her role and fantasy connection will be until the series premieres but she does have an uncanny beauty that makes her believable of having supernatural abilities.

 Bree Turner

Turner is a fox on Grimm... literally. As fox-like Fuchsbau, Rosalee Calvert, she often gets the CGI treatment. Is it weird that she looks a little sexy even with the whiskers? Her character has definitely grown in importance on the show and it helps that she’s just so darned pretty…and provides invaluable magical healing and intel.

 Ginnifer Goodwin

Goodwin could have potentially played Snow White on Once Upon a Time in a fashion very sickeningly sweet. Her role on “Big Love” was innocent, sexy, but a little saccharine. Luckily, she plays more of an edgy, arrow shooting, counter-cultural Snow. She often is the one who saves the Prince which is sexy in its own way.

Phoebe Tonkin

Tonkin is a stunner. She was a shining light in the failed series The Secret Circle. She was a great addition to Vampire Diaries so it made sense she moved on to The Originals. This Australian beauty steals the show as werewolf beauty Hayley. Maybe she should get her own spin-off.

Zoie Palmer

Smart people can be sexy. Palmer plays Lauren on “Lost Girl.” She’s a scientist who seems to be able to do the impossible. However, her nerdy demeanor never undercuts her beauty, sex appeal, or voracious appetite to get down. She has recently gotten way more sexual this season. It just goes to show you…you have to watch the quiet ones.

 Roxanne McKee

Dominion hasn’t even premiered yet but it looks awesome and so does McKee. She is one of the stunning cast members in this series that merges Hell and Las Vegas. Given the weather, it’s not much of a leap. She plays Claire Rysen the seemingly angelic daughter of General Rysen. But angelic takes on a new form since the show is about humans fighting angels for survival.

Bitsie Tulloch

Tulloch is so beautiful she’d make it difficult to be a Grimm. As the main love interest on the show it’s no wonder that Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) has so many problems. Luckily, as Juliette, Tulloch makes all of his struggles worthwhile.
